elephant – a new way to explore the world
step outside. open elephant. explore what's around you.
whether you're at home, exploring your neighborhood, or arriving in a city you've never visited, elephant brings available content nearby into view — without you having to search for it.
explore local businesses, sights, activities, events, and offers.
you don't need to know what you're looking for, type in search terms, or hunt through a map. simply open elephant and explore what's around you.
as you move, your surroundings change — and elephant updates the nearby content available to explore.
the app does the searching. you do the exploring.
sometimes, the best discoveries are the ones you never knew were there.
your world. always discovering.
elephant changes the way you explore the world around you.
instead of having to search for every place, activity or event yourself, elephant brings available nearby content into view. whether you're taking a walk around your neighborhood, looking for somewhere interesting to visit, or simply curious about what's nearby, new possibilities are waiting to be .
local businesses and sights are organized from closest to furthest from your current location, helping you see what's nearby first. events and activities are organized by how soon they take place, helping you discover what's coming up.
from everyday surroundings to unfamiliar streets, elephant helps you see the world around you with fresh eyes.
daydreaming — explore anywhere in the world.
discover a place before you even get there.
with daydreaming, you can choose a location anywhere in the world and explore the available content around that place, even when you're nowhere near it.
planning a holiday? curious about a city you've always wanted to visit? thinking about your next adventure?
explore places, businesses, sights, activities, events and offers around your chosen destination before you arrive. discover possibilities, save interesting finds, and start planning your next experience.
with elephant, discovery isn't limited to where you are. you can explore where you want to be, too.
discover your way. explore by category.
sometimes you want to see everything around you. Other times, you have a particular interest in mind.
elephant lets you explore content through categories selected by creators when they publish their content. whether you're interested in restaurants, local sights, activities, events, offers or something else, categories help you focus on the kinds of discoveries you're looking for.
choose a category, explore what's available, and perhaps discover something you weren't expecting.
you don't always need to know exactly what you're looking for. sometimes, all you need is a place to start.
save your discoveries. plan your next adventure.
some places catch your eye. some experiences sound too good to miss. and some discoveries are worth remembering for another day.
with favorites, you can save interesting content while exploring nearby or using daydreaming. keep track of places you want to visit, events you don't want to miss, and ideas for your next trip.
your favorites are accessible through the app bar, whether you're using elephant without an account or have signed up as a creator.
to help you find what matters:
local businesses and sights are sorted from closest to furthest from your current location.
events and activities are sorted by how soon they take place.
save something today and come back to it when the time is right.
discover it. save it. experience it.
easy to explore. easy to understand.

have something worth sharing? become a creator.
have something worth sharing? sign up and become a creator.
businesses, municipalities, organizations and individuals can sign up to publish content on elephant, including sights, events, activities, offers and more.
creating an account is free, but publishing content requires payment. this helps support elephant's growth and may also help discourage harmful or abusive content.
creators verify their email using a one-time password and receive a unique username and profile linked to their published content. creator accounts also include all regular discovery features and favorites.
know who's behind what you discover.
we believe transparency matters.
every creator has a unique username and a profile, and every piece of published content is connected to its creator's profile. when you discover a place, event or activity, you can visit the profile behind it to learn more about who shared it.
businesses and organizations can share their unique elephant username on their official website, social media channels and other communication platforms. this makes it easier for people to find the intended profile and identify the content associated with it.
by connecting content to creator profiles, elephant helps make discovery more transparent and gives creators a place to build their presence within the community.
a fairer way to be discovered.
elephant is built around discovery, giving businesses, organizations and experiences the opportunity to be found without paid boosts deciding who gets seen.
we believe worthwhile discoveries shouldn't depend on who spends the most money on advertising. smaller businesses, local initiatives and lesser-known places should have the opportunity to be discovered alongside more familiar names.
elephant focuses on helping people discover what's available, rather than letting paid promotion decide what appears most prominently.
because sometimes, the places that deserve to be discovered most are the ones people haven't heard of yet.
stop searching. start discovering.
step outside and explore your neighborhood. find a hidden gem around the corner. discover an event happening nearby. daydream about a place you've always wanted to visit. save discoveries for later, or share something that helps someone else find their next favorite place.
you don't need to know exactly where to go or what to search for.
just open elephant and let the world around you become a little more discoverable.
the app does the searching. you do the discovering.
